Focus commodities

Indonesia is one of the locations for country-level hub and research activities. The TRADE Hub Indonesia focuses on two agricultural commodities: palm oil and coffee.

TRADE Hub Indonesia team and research topics

The TRADE Hub Indonesia consists of six collaborative partners:

  1. Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR)
  2. World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF)
  3. Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS)
  4. Research Center for Climate Change University of Indonesia (RCCC UI)
  5. IPB University (Bogor Agricultural University)
  6. University of Lampung (UNILA)

The country-level coordination is led by Professor Herry Purnomo (CIFOR). Research and other activities in Indonesia are joint efforts between partners and are integrated with the global TRADE hub. To link with the global hub, each partner is responsible for leading research activities within a work package:
