Mulia is a Scientist for sustainable food system. Primarily She is trained in fishery science, looking at fish from human consumption perspective. Currently Mulia is a Food and Nutrition Scientist at Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), with Sustainable Landscapes and Food Systems research team, doing studies on changing diets in forested areas of Indonesia, food supply chain in forest conservation areas in West Papua also on fish consumption in mangroves areas. She is also a part-time PhD candidate at University of Copenhagen, International Nutrition and Pediatrics group, doing studies on fish as nutritious food for Cambodian children. Mulia is interested in all things related to food/nutrition-environment nexus.
