Jo O’Hara

Jo was the senior forestry executive in the Scottish government, responsible for forestry policy, regulation, promotion and strategy until 2020. A professional forester, and Councillor for the UK Institute for Chartered Foresters, she is now a freelance consultant and coach working internationally with governments, academics and organisations to support the progression to a climate positive future. Current assignments include a substantial forestry policy project for the Irish Government; working with an international philanthropic organisation on sustainable timber use, and advising earth observation businesses, as well as third sector non-executive roles and bespoke coaching and convening.
