Forests and trees help tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges including food security, climate change, biodiversity loss and land degradation, and at the same time support sustainable development. This Digital Forum will explore how forests can help transform global food systems.
Speakers will discuss best practices to enhance synergies, including agroforestry and the restoration of agrosilvopastoral lands, and the adoption of innovative approaches and the latest technologies.
This Digital Forum is part of the 8th World Forest Week and will kick off the 26th Session of the FAO Committee on Forestry (COFO26)
