The first Africa Conference on Land Grab 2014 hereby invites you to submit your full paper(s) for the Conference, taking place on the 27th – 30th October 2014, in Johannesburg, South Africa. The closing date for full paper(s) submission is the 15th of June 2014.

The conference will explore the phenomenon of land grab. Speakers, panelists and papers will look at country case studies, challenges, advantages and disadvantages of the sale and lease of large swathes of arable land to powerful foreign individuals, multinationals and governments. What would be the implications of these actions fifty years down the line? Various scenarios will be explored and considered.

The Africa Land Grab Conference provides a world-class line-up of speakers invited to address the conference and it offers opportunities to attend interactive, high quality, peer-reviewed parallel sessions that will provide detailed insights in top-of-the-range refereed track themes.
