International Association for the Study of the Commons 2011
The 13th Biennial Conference of the International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC) will be held in Hyderabad, India, 10–14 January 2011. The conference will take place in South Asia for the first time. And, in a departure from the past, it will be hosted by a practitioner organization, the Foundation for Ecological Security.
CIFOR will host a pre-conference workshop on 13 January, a forum to encourage dialogue among stakeholders from the research, policy and practitioner communities. The one-day workshop will foster discussions on a new policy research agenda for forest governance. The keynote speaker is Arun Agrawal other speaker include Elinor Ostrom, Christian Lund and Nalin Kishor. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss, debate and influence our Forests and Governance research agenda. For updates, please click here
