Plan now to attend the Second Asia-Pacific Forestry Week, 7-11 November 2011, in Beijing, China. Forestry Week promises to be the most significant forestry event of the year in the Asia-Pacific region. Key policy makers, heads of natural resources agencies, leading private sector officials, and stakeholders from all aspects of forestry will congregate in the dynamic city of Beijing to discuss how best to meet the exciting new challenges and opportunities facing forestry in the region.
In addition to plenary sessions packed with high-profile leaders influencing the direction of forestry, partner organizations are invited to complement the program with focused events throughout the week. Organizational booths, exhibits, poster sessions and special events are also being planned. More details will be available soon on the website of the Asia-Pacific Forestry Week (http://www.fao.org/forestry/ap-forestry-week/en/). You can also send an email to: AP-Forestry-Week@fao.org.
