Towards Stronger County Environment Committees in Kenya: A Synthesis of Guidelines and Capacity Gaps

The purpose of this synthesis is to: Create awareness on the initiatives and progress made towards strengthening counties to support and accelerate environmental, forest and landscape restoration in Kenya. Provide an overview of three documents developed to enhance operations and performance of CECs. These are: the Terms of Reference (TORs); Capacity Gaps and; Guide to Functional CECs. Present priority actions for activating and accelerating operations of CECs. Serve as quick guide for training CECs.
