Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), China

The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) was established in 1957, representing China’s most important national agricultural research organization, affiliated to the Ministry of Agriculture. CAAS has the strategic task of serving nation-wide agricultural and rural development and empowering farmers with science and technology, is a key window for international collaboration, representing China’s agricultural science and technology. CAAS has been supporting CIFOR’s work in support of the Strategy and Results Framework of the CGIAR in China.
