CIFOR and Indonesia renew contract to deliver cutting edge forests research

Indonesia will continue to be host and heart of cutting-edge forests research, after its government and CIFOR signed a memorandum of understanding last month. CIFOR Director-General, Robert Nasi, committed to supporting Indonesia’s ‘game-changing’ social forestry policies, as well as national and international commitments, such as the Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goals.
