CIFOR Director General, Frances Seymour comments on an effort to help the country improve its dwindling tree cover. “Forests are the source of livelihoods for hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Therefore, it is these people who have the most to lose when forests are managed unsustainably. ” she said.
