Global Initiative to secure women's land rights through gender transformative approaches

This project promotes and strengthens women's rights through the integration of gender-transformative approaches in rural development interventions by improving policies and implementation tools and practices in targeted countries.

The objectives of the project are to enhance the recognition and protection of women's land rights in targeted countries and to contribute to the creation of the conditions that would enable women's enjoyment of land rights over time. 

The reserach activities are implemented in the following countries: Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Uganda, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Noger and the Gambia.
