Indonesia is implementing various financial mechanism that directly and indirectly disburse climate-related funding for mitigation, adaptation and synergies between the two. This project aims to inform related decision makers of gender and poverty reduction perspectives; of contributions of gender-responsive climate change adaptation; and of accelerating gender transformational change at the project /subnational level.
In doing so, a comparative assessment of implementation of various climate finance is conducted to provide guidance on enhancing long-term transformational change. Information will be disseminated through activities and communication products.
The project is based in Indonesia and works closely with the government and international non-governmental organizations.
