This project aims to address persistent gaps between strong scientific theory and weak implementation. It does so by operationalizing an integrated landscape approach in Ghana, Indonesia and Zambia. The project facilitates multistakeholder dialogue to benefit actors across multiple sectors and decision-making scales and to enhance the capacity of stakeholders engaged in the target landscapes.
In doing so, the project contributes to existing knowledge on the effectiveness of a landscape approach. It improves capacity for implementation, enhances landscape sustainability and empowers marginalized groups to more effectively participate in decision-making dialogues. Through the Global Landscape Forum, it feeds into global landscape discourses.
