Building Enabling Legal Frameworks for Sustainable Land Use and Low-Carbon Investment

IDLO and CIFOR have agreed to use the opportunity of the Global Landscape Forum (Discussion forum to be hosted by EUFRO, CIFOR and IDLO) on 17 November 2013 to present the Project’s preliminary findings as part of validation and peer review. This will allow the Project team to further revise and strengthen the Project reports before validating them in each country in the first three months of 2014. IDLO strongly believes that it is vital to undertake strong and rigorous review of the Project with in-country stakeholders, to ensure country ownership of the results. An additional four months will also allow IDLO and CIFOR to work together to identify priorities for future phases of the Project
