This project proposes to "contribute to the mainstreaming of" forest management in the context of REDD strategies of the countries'' central Africa, by developing the following main areas: - synthesizing the existing body of knowledge in terms of both comparison (social, economic, environmental ...) use of forest lands as carbon stock assessment - provide information needed to assess the impact of forest management on carbon emissions - support the preparation and implementation of projects to assess these impacts - facilitate trade between the Brazilian Amazon and Africa on these issues - providing the Central African negotiators how to defend their positions in future negotiations on climate.
