JIRCAS provides a research fund to defray Dr. Yosuke Okimoto''s research expenses which will be remitted to CIFOR account. Dr. Okimoto will conduct a research on the theme "Study on establishment of allometry equation on mangrove's below-ground root biomass". Dr Okimoto will be working closely with Dr. Joko Purbopuspito and supervised by Dr. Daniel Murdiyarso.
