The 5th International Conference Indonesia Researcher Forestry (INAFOR) 2019 is a platform for forestry and environmental scientists to share information and knowledge in the forestry and environment research, development an innovation in Indonesia by focusing on recommendation/policy options. The main theme of INAFOR 2019 : Enforcing Forest Restoration and Waste Management for Better Environment and Socio-Economic Benefits.

A team of CIFOR scientists will attend to lead and participate in panel sessions on a variety of topics, presenting the latest research findings on sustainable development goals (SDGs), innovative solutions for managing tropical Forests and conserving biodiversity, climate policy and action and forest genetic resources. In addition, CIFOR GOLS project will conduct parallel discussion title’ Conserving Biodiversity outside Conservation Areas: Managing Fragmented Landscapes for Conservation and Development,’ on 29 August 2019.
