The Council is expected to convene from 26-27 May, and the Assembly is expected to convene from 28-30 May. All 183 member nations, including South Sudan – the GEF’s newest member – will gather for the Assembly during which, Mexico will have the opportunity to describe successful GEF-financed projects such as the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor, the Protected Natural Areas Program, and the development of a program for biodiversity and sustainable productive systems.
