Forêts et changement climatique en Afrique Centrale

From flood control to climate regulation to carbon storage, the forests of the Congo Basin provide ecosystem services at local, regional and global levels. In addition to supporting climate change mitigation, these forests can make a valuable contribution to adaptation – which will have the greatest effect if synergies can be found with mitigation.

Come to this side event to join members of the Central African Forests Commission (COMIFAC) and CIFOR in discussing adaptation and mitigation efforts in this globally important region.
