Special report on forests, climate and landscapes: Lima 2014

Forestry and agriculture together account for nearly one-quarter of greenhouse gas emissions, making these sectors central to the emerging global climate and development frameworks. To that end, the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) will host several side events to the UN climate talks in Lima, Peru, 1-12 December. CIFOR will also co-host the 2014 Global Landscapes Forum, 6-7 December, that will seek to shape a better future through sustainable landscapes. In this special feature, “Forests, climate and landscapes: Lima 2014,” CIFOR’s Forests News blog brings together research and analysis from, and related to, events at Lima, including interviews with experts and practitioners in forests, landscapes and climate change.
