Nonconsumption indicators of poverty are various household characteristicssuch as asset ownership, housing condition, access to facilities, consumption pattern, as well as household head and spouse characteristics such as age, gender, and education levelthat can be used to predict household consumption expenditure or poverty levels in a relatively accurate and straightforward way.
