Regional Facilitator, Asia Program, Rights and Resources Initiative
Ganga holds a PhD in forest governance and tenure rights from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. He worked at CIFOR as a Research Fellow from 2005-09, where he coordinated a global research on forest tenure and livelihoods. As a Regional Facilitator for Asia, he now works for the RRI partner organizations based in Asia in advancing forest tenure and rights agenda. His key areas of expertise include forest governance, institutional structure, tenure and resource rights, community based resource management and livelihoods, decentralization and devolution policies, and sustainable resource management. He is from Nepal.
