Researcher and trainer at RECOFTC—The Center for People and Forests
Ahmad Dhiaulhaq is a researcher and trainer at RECOFTC—The Center for People and Forests. His current research focuses on the analysis of forest conflict transformation in Southeast Asia, including an analysis of the application of mediation in transforming forest and land conflicts in Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia, and an analysis of the existing and future conflicts under REDD+ implementation. The results of the analysis have been strategically utilized for RECOFTC’s capacity building programs on forest conflict transformation, development of academic and non-academic publications as well as policy recommendations. Ahmad Holds a Master of Environment (M. Env) from the University of Melbourne in Australia.
