A new Nong Khiaw travel agency was offered access to a hike by a local community. Rice farmers and hunters went on this hike together with the two young entrepreneurs and two German tourists (“target group testing”). After 10 hours of wading through a riverbed and sliding through stretches of bamboo forest after a full-grown monsoon rain, the trail was deemed as not appropriate for tourists.
