Deforestation and forest degradation have opened the eyes of children and youth to address these problems. IGaF is an environmental networking platform which gives chance to children and youth in maintaining and conserving tropical forest in Indonesia. One of the projects in addressing the above was Eco-education Based Forest in which students were educated on how to maintain, conserve, and protect tropical forest. In addition, from forestry education, the environmental awareness could be increased. More than 100 students from 25 schools in Mlonggo District, Jepara were involved in the project, especially to the implementation of agroforestry.
