CGIAR Development Dialogues at Climate Week NYC

Forestry, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, landscapes, food systems – these all play a vital and complex role in the search for answers on climate and sustainable development action.

The inaugural CGIAR Development Dialogues were held in New York on 25 September, drawing attention to this vital role, with the goal of informing policy interventions and other efforts to address pressing global challenges.

Speakers included development expert Bina Agarwal, Peruvian Environment Minister Manuel Pulgar-Vidal, and WCS President Cristian Samper. CIFOR co-hosted session 4.1 on integrated landscape approaches for agriculture, forestry and other land uses, and session 4.2 on climate-smart agriculture.

Photos and videos are being loaded into the event page as they become available over the coming days.
