Welcome to the website of European Commission-funded project on “Bioenergy, sustainability and trade-offs: Can we avoid deforestation while promoting bioenergy?” This research is being carried out as a collaborative effort between the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Joanneum Research (JR) and Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).
